Rent a Car Terms and Conditions

Please read these AH Lahore car rental agreements carefully before booking your vehicle. By placing a booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Terms of Use

1. Payment

   100% payment in advance. 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% must be paid when the vehicle arrives at your specified address. The driver will collect the balance before departure.

2. Booking Confirmation

   A booking is considered confirmed only after the advance payment is received.

3. Pricing

   All prices and rates listed on the website are net of tax. An additional 16% service tax and 2% income tax will apply to all quoted rates.

4. Identification

   A copy of your CNIC (for Pakistani nationals) or Passport (for foreigners) is required at the time of booking or vehicle handover.

5. Fuel & Mileage

   Fuel/mileage is calculated from our base station (starting from base and returning to base). The vehicle must be returned with a full fuel tank at the end of each day.

6. Route Restrictions

   No deviations from the agreed route or travel plan are allowed once the booking is confirmed.

7. Chauffeur-Driven Only

   AH Rent a Car Lahore provides only chauffeur-driven services. Customers are not permitted to drive the vehicle under any circumstances.

8. Passenger & Load Limits

   The vehicle must not carry more passengers or luggage than its registered capacity. Overloading is strictly prohibited.

9. Prohibited Use The vehicle may not be used for any illegal purpose or to carry prohibited items (e.g., weapons, drugs, alcohol, smuggled goods).

10. Additional Charges

    Extra charges may include basic rental fees, airport fees, taxes, government fees, parking, tolls, excessive cleaning (interior stains/dirt), and other applicable costs. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received.

11. Rental Duration & Over Time

    • Local use rentals are based on 12 hours.
    • Rental timing ends at 12:00 AM (midnight). Late returns after 12:00 AM will incur overtime charges or a full extra day rental.
    • Hourly overtime applies after 12 hours (local) or 23 hours (outstation) at Rs. 400/hour for cars and Rs. 1,000/hour for SUVs, vans, and coasters.
    • Late returns beyond 15 minutes may attract charges; over 3 hours = full extra day rent.

12. Outstation / One-Way Rentals:

13. For one-way outstation rentals (no return to Lahore), return fuel, tolls, and any applicable overtime will be charged. The vehicle must reach Lahore before 12:00 AM to avoid extra fees. Outstation rentals close upon return to Lahore, even if 24 hours are not completed (for driver safety).

14. Cancellation Policy

    A 30% penalty of the total rental amount applies in case of cancellation.

15. Early Termination

    Early termination of multi-day rentals may result in rate adjustments, plus full payment for one day, fuel, and driver charges.

16. Monthly Rentals

    • Limited to Lahore use; maximum 7 days outstation travel allowed in quoted rates.
    • Extra costs apply after 7 days outstation.
    • 3,000 km limit; customer pays for oil change, filter, etc., beyond this.
    • 6 days/week basis.
    • 7 days’ notice required for termination.

17. Driver Meals & Accommodation

    Outstation night stays: Rs. 3,000/day for driver meals & accommodation (or customer provides). Lahore: Rs. 600/day for meals (or customer arranges). Special days (Eid, holidays) may incur Rs. 1,000 driver allowance.

18. Challans & Permits

    Highway authority challans (route permits outside Lahore-Islamabad motorway, e.g., Murree, Swat, Naran) are the customer’s responsibility.

19. Restricted Areas

    We do not provide vehicles to extremely dangerous or restricted areas (e.g., Shogran, Skardu, Toli Peer).

20. Valuables & Luggage

    Do not leave valuables in the vehicle or with the driver. AH is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to luggage/equipment. All luggage must be in the trunk or roof rack (no items on seats).

21. Vehicle & Driver Replacement

    We may replace the vehicle/driver without notice for technical/behavioral issues. Backup within Lahore is possible after investigation (several hours). No backup for outstation rentals.

22. Mechanical Issues / Accidents:

    In case of breakdown, accident, or failure, full day rental + fuel/tolls for return may apply. AH is not responsible for delays, damages, or liabilities from such incidents.

23. Smoking Policy:

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. A Rs. 1,000 cleaning fee may apply if violated. We maintain a smoke-free fleet for everyone’s comfort.

24. General Responsibilities

    • Provide one contact person for all communications.
    • No intoxicated persons allowed in vehicles.
    • Customer handles all legal/security issues if the vehicle is used in restricted/illegal areas.

25. Company Rights

    AH reserves the right to accept/decline bookings, change prices/services, or refuse service at any time. Prices subject to change without notice.

26. Contact

    All inquiries/bookings must be made directly with AH Rent a Car Lahore. Do not contact drivers for reservations.

• Drive safely and follow traffic rules
• Open doors for passengers
• Load/unload luggage
• Keep the vehicle clean
• Perform daily safety checks
• Collect payments
• Adhere to agreed schedules

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties. AH Rent a Car Lahore, and affiliates disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness, etc.). We are not liable for interruptions, errors, viruses, or third-party claims unless specified in a separate written agreement. Customers are responsible for their equipment/access costs.
